Customer Review: Great size and operation, just a few very minor complaints

I like this trashcan, my only few complaints would be:
- the slightly delayed reaction in opening
- the inside "mouth" of the can is smaller than most trashcans as they have to account for the section they put the motor/batteries for the electronic lid, so sometimes food when "dumped and thrown in capriciously" will hit the battery area, and requires a quick wipe so food doesn't get encrusted on there.
- my trashbags don't stay in place that well, but it could be b/c i have cheap bags and need to get sturdier ones.
- sometimes the lid closes too quickly on me, i.e. when i'm scraping off leftovers, BUT I do like the "keep open" function which I use when I'm cooking so I don't need to keep waving my hand over it and waiting that 1.5 seconds for it to react.
For the most part, I like the look and uniqueness and I can deal with the aforementioned complaints just fine and would buy this product again.
Description of iTouchless Fly Automatic Trashcan NX - Brushed Stainless (8 gal.)
This 8 Gallon Touchless Trashcan NX model uses latest sensor technology. As your hand or debris enter the zone 6 inches from the infrared sensor on top of the trash can, the lid will automatically open. The lid will remain open if debris or hand is within the 6 inch range of the infrared sensor. 3 seconds after your hand moves away from the lid it closes automatically. At top front of the lid there are open and close buttons for manual operation, and there is a on/off power switch on the back of the trash can. This 2nd generation automatic trash can improves sensor sensitivity to prevent accidental opening, and a mechanically superior lid opening mechanism for longer lasting, more durable operation. Fits any regular 8 or 10 gallon trash bag. Comes with bag retainer ring to secure and hide the trash bag inside the trash can.
