Customer Review: Great for those of us who can't cut a straight brownie, however, the brownies aren't the same size!

If you can't cut neat looking brownies (like me)and you don't care about portion control, this is the gadget for you. It works GREAT, and I haven't had any problems with leakage as one person mentioned.
However, I bought this for one purpose. I'm on Weight Watchers and wanted this for portion control. It does make 18 brownies, bars, or cornbread slices, and all very neat. However, they're not all the same size. The insert isn't adjustable, and the middle row brownies are bigger in size than the 2 outer rows. Thus, brownies that aren't really the same size. And you can't tell this by looking at the picture. In fact, the pic on the box (and on this website) appears they're either even, or if anything, they could be slightly larger on the outside. It's an illusion. They don't come out looking quite this way.
Still a good value if you don't care about portion control. It's easy to use, and fairly easy to clean. I had to re-wash it, due to all the corners you have to clean, but it's non-stick so it could be a lot worse.
Would I buy it again? Probably, simply because it will be handy when making brownies for an event. However, I am a little put out that the portions aren't divided equally. And that there's no information telling this anywhere on the package.

The only minor negative thing about this pan is that you have to put foil around the bottom or the batter will leak out of the bottom. The pan is a normal size brownie pan (about 8x8), the size of the brownies are a regular serving size, if you think their too small eat two! The pan is non-stick so the brownies come out easily(follow recipe directions for greasing the pan) and it washes easily. The brownies are great because they bake evenly and have nice crusted sides and tops. I am going to experiment and try to make mini cheesecakes and see how they turn out. It is worth the money and does work great for regular brownies and deep dish brownies......Customer Review: Great pan!

This is a wonderful little pan. I got great results by halving recipes that called for a standard 9-by-13 pan and beginning to check for doneness about 5 minutes early, since this pan is only 7-by-11. After reading some of the reviews, I did use a cookie sheet underneath, but I had no leakage with any of the brownie and bar recipes I tried--possibly the people who had problems with leakage were using a thinner batter?
When using a conventional pan, I almost always would manage to mess up when trying to neatly slice the bars, but with this pan, the divider worked great to give me precisely cut squares and a really nice presentation for my holiday baking. Now my baked goods look like the pretty pictures on the recipe cards!

I received this pan as a Christmas gift. For me it worked as it was supposed to and the brownies came out fine. One problem I had with it was that the brownies were not all the same size. The ones in the middle were bigger than the ones on the outer edges. The other problem I had was the texture of the "cut" edges of the brownies were a little strange.Customer Review: LOVE This Pan!!

I absolutely LOVE this brownie pan! I have used it almost everyday since I received it. I have used it for many different types of brownies and it is fun to use and not messy at all. I have added different toppings to each brownie square (M&M's, chocolate chips, etc.) and they look so pretty and professional! I have also made carrot cake in this pan and it turned out great! I am going to order 4 more pans - 2 for me and 2 for gifts! I bake a lot and brownies are my speciality and I highly recommend this pan!
