We've tried other live traps and none work as well as this.
We initially used peanut butter but that didn't get many hits and was also messy. We found using a piece of nut (we use walnut pieces) in the VERY back of the trap and check them often to remove the mouse ASAP. I think part of the trick is to ensure they are hungry. I.e.; leave no pet dry food & waterbowls out unattended or overnight.
