Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Wine Appeal Label Remover Kit - 24 Pack - Wine Label RemoversCustomer Review: great product, great price Summary: 5 StarsThese are the most inexpensive label removers I've come across. Very fast shipping, too! These work as well or better than other brands I've tried and are very easy to use. I had a high success rate as I've done this several times before and have a knack for it I guess! :)
Customer Review: Only 10% sucess rate! Summary: 1 StarsI don't like this product at all. I have only had a partial sucess rate with one bottle. The rest get shredded. Nothing in their direction about using a spoon, but still doesn't seem to do much good.
Customer Review: Best Label Removers on the Net Summary: 5 StarsWine Appeal Label Remover Kit - 24 Pack - Wine Label Removers
Of all the label remover brands we've tried the Wine Appeal brand are by far the best. They are reasonably priced, the shipping is cheap and you get them very quickly. This method of removing wine labels is the best because it laminates the wine label and then they're ready to stick into a journal or onto a card. Every wine label is different so it takes a few tries to get the hang of it and to know what types of labels require more work than others. This removal method may not work for ALL labels but we found this product works for MOST. We would recommend this product to everyone.
Customer Review: gets the job done... when it works. Summary: 3 StarsThese label removing sheets are great for most labels. Use the back of a spoon to strongly adhere the sticky sheet to the bottle.
I had about a 70% success rate on various types and styles of labels. As most websites and blogs will say, not all labels are removed with this method. These days, some labels are hard to get off at all. If you are deeply concerned with preserving a specific label, buyer beware -- this may not be the first and best solution, because once the sticky sheet is on the bottle, it will not come off without at least some of the label on there. You may want to try steam or soak first and then if that doesn't work, let the label dry and give these a whirl. Good luck!
