I had been using a white vinyl hanging jewelry organizer in my closet for about 6 years. It was an economical purchase, but over time, the flimsy vinyl just didn't stand up to daily use. But I love the concept, so I decided to order the Whitney Design 80 Pocket Cotton CANVAS jewelry organizer to replace my tattered and torn vinyl version and am VERY pleased with this purchase. I have recently returned to work, and enjoy coordinating business casual outfits with colorful, funky earrings and unique accessories that I have collected over 25 years. I don't have to paw through my jewelry box, but can view earring options at a glance. HINT: For the anal retentive, mine are organized by color spectrum row. My silver and gold tone earrings are all on one side, and colorful options are on the reverse. For smaller earrings, I put 2-3 in a single pocket, no worries. THIS WAS A GREAT UPGRADE OF A PROVEN PRODUCT. ENJOY!
Description of Whitney Design 80-Pocket Cotton Canvas Jewelry Organizer
This very smartly designed natural canvas hanging 2 sided jewelry organizer takes up less than 2" of space in your closet. The hanging jewelry bag includes 80 vinyl see thru pockets to safely secure your jewelry, hair accessories or anything else. This practical and functional jewelry organizer also includes an aluminum hanger and is a favorite amongst our customers. Size is 18"W x 41.50"L(including hanger).No more rummaging in a jewelry box or drawer for that particular pair of earrings. This double-sided organizer features eighty pockets, forty on each side--and because the pockets are made of vinyl, one glance is all that's needed to find the desired object. The backing is made of natural cotton canvas with five snaps that attach it to the included brushed aluminum hanger.
Although the organizer is meant to hang in a closet, it could also be hung near a craft table and used to hold beads, embroidery thread, buttons, anything imaginable. Excluding the hanger, the organizer measures 18 by 35 inches, and folds for travel. --Ann Bieri
