This worked for what I needed which was drying workout clothes after rinsing them out. It is very sturdy and I am using it outside on my lanai. I also placed heavy beach towels on it and it was able to hold up to that. This is a great design and is so easy to use, just pull up and secure top bar. No assembly required and will store flat. The item was delivered promptly, is easy to set up, and allows me to dry my clothes without using extra electricity, less carbon footprint, allows me to live a 'green' lifestyle. I've had this rack for over a month now and it is sturdy and doesn't take up much space. I've dried everything from jeans to heavy floor mats on it and it has held up. You do get what you pay for and this rack is much better than the cheaper wooden versions...
