I purchased the Whirlpool duet steam washer and gas dryer and I wish more than anything that I had not. since this is a review of the dryer, I will only discuss the dryer. Pros: none. Cons: it takes FOREVER to dry your laundry. the features including the auto dry and wrinkle shield do not work. I often have to dry my clothes longer than an hour and half! Also, clothes come out twisted and wrinkled especially jeans and long pants. I still can't figure out any benefit to the "steam cycle" it doesn't do anything different. I used to have a pretty standard maytag washer and dryer, which worked much better. this is expensive and not worth the price. I have had this dryer for 3 months and will try to see if I can at least exchange it for something else. Also, I have not noticed any decrease in my gas bill, either. Trust me, I was hoping more than anything that it would be great, but it's not. sorry.
