I bought the whirlpool duet washer and dryer 5 years ago based on the brand name and, quite frankly, how terrific the set looked. Mistake!

They have had to be serviced multiple times ... the dryer takes 90 minutes to dry a load ... the computer sensor on the dryer broke about a year after purchase and we can now only use timed drying (or pay over $400 to replace computer board!) ... the plastic handles have broken off both the washer and the dryer --- all in all, poor quality, and very poor customer support from whirlpool.
