I've bought several egg slicers in the past and they all have failed me. They were made of plastic, or wires so thin they broke after less than a dozen uses, even though boiled eggs was all I did with them. The Westmark W1020 Egg Slicer is a professional product, made to be used. It is heavy, and well made. The blades are substantial and I believe I will get more than my money's worth. I will be using this slicer in my busy kitchen for some time to come. I don't suggest using it for more than eggs, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could. You will be pleased if you order this product.
