The top platform the bowl sits on is not attached to anything, so it does come off easily, especially when trying to pick it up and move it. That won't BREAK it, again, it's not attached to anything. It's just a minor annoyance.
That's my only real beef with it though. Well that, and my cats lick the bowl after I've weighed things in it, so I constantly have to keep washing cat hair out of it.
Otherwise, it's pretty accurate from what I can tell, small, light, portable, and cute. Allows you the option of taring, so you can use other bowls with it as long as they fit on top of it. Has been a fantastic help- previously, how the heck was I supposed to measure "2 oz of spaghetti" or tell if I'd eating one or two ounces of cheese.
