Customer Review: Beautiful map-- but use more glue when hanging

We put this in my husband's home office and it looks fabulous. The only problem is the self-adhesive backing isn't really that sticky. We tried to hang it according to the exact directions and things looked good, but 10 minutes later when I came into the room it had partially fallen off, and one area bubbled. Later I read up on how to hang "wallies" and everyone suggests using extra paste, even though the directions don't require it. In the end I went to Home Depot, had them cut a thin piece of wood in the exact map measurements, then I GLUE GUNNED (yes! a silly glue gun!) the map to the wood. Then we anchored it to the wall and we laughed becuase it looked PERFECT. I couldn't believe how we had to hang it, but it turned out beautifully. Plus now we can move it around if we ever need to. Anyway, it's lovely-- but use extra wallpaper paste!!!
