This is a super product that will absolutely alter the taste of red wine. We did a taste test by using the aerator and another glass that we did not use the aerator. The difference was obvious. While wine-tasting in Solvang, a wine tasting room used this aerator on a glass of wine. We were able to try a before and after tasting. I was so impressed that I needed to buy it. Months later and I've finally gotten around to it. I bought the cheapest wine I could find. A bottle of Charles Shaw Cab or "2-buck Chuck" as it is known in some circles. I also did a before and after. The "after" was amazing. I've never tasted wine like that straight from the bottle before. The acidity was gone and it became smoother, fruitier. It was amazing. Can you imagine what it can do for a more expensive bottle of wine? I love my brand new aerator! Definitely a great buy and a great gift for the winos in your family.
