I first had the Vinturi demonstrated to me at a wine conference. The demonstrator poured two glasses of wine - one through the Vinturi, the other directly into a glass. You could definitely taste the taste improvement in the wine poured through the Vinturi. The stand makes the Vinturi easier to use and looks great on the counter. I am also glad to see that they have added a filter to catch any sediment in the bottle.

From Vinturi, the deluxe aerator set includes the new Vinturi tower and the sensational Vinturi red wine aerator. The set has a two piece design which makes it easy to clean and easy to store (even though you'll want to keep this beautiful set out in full view). Tower features a stylish no-splash grate which eliminates mess. Vinturi has been a sensation because it works. Red wine needs to breathe to allow it to open up, release its intended aromas, and of course, make it taste better. Vinturi's patent pending design speeds up this process by instantly aerating with ease and convenience. Taste your wine the way the winemaker intended. It delivers recognizable improvements immediately: better bouquet, enhanced flavors and smoother finish. Perfect aeration in the time it takes to pour a glass! It couldn't be easier. Vinturi aerator sits on top of tower allowing for easy, hands-free operation. The glossy, clear acrylic is elegant and clean. But do note that there are two slight fold lines in the Vinturi aerator that extend upward from each air hole. These are normal.
