Yes, you do need to quarter your peppers and cut onions in half or quarters, but the time it saves me is still incredible! I love using it for my greek cucumber salad and pico de gallo, which I make more often due to the time savings of the chopper! My family think it's incredible, too. Don't need all of the peppers or onion in your recipe? Just finish them in the chopper while it's out and store them in the refrigerator for convenience! Then you can put the chopper pieces in the dishwasher for tomorrow.Customer Review: Chop happy

I use this product *every* day. It's so wonderful that I immediately sent one to my mom. She said she hates food processors but loves the Vidalia Chop Wizard. It's great for salads, soups, salsas, appetizers, etc. Uniform sizing adds great eye appeal and allows one to get a bit of everything in one bite. It's so simple to use and goes in the dishwasher (top shelf). Do not lose the "comb" that comes with it! OMG! I just made a stir fry in 3min! The ChopWizard does exactly what it is supposed to do. It's simple and the entire unit- all parts- are diswasher safe. I think I'm in love! Before buying I did some comparison product review browsing and finally settled on the ChopWizard based on other's positive reviews. They were on the money. The biggest complaints about other choppers were that they "mushed" food and that the units slid around on the counter. The Chopwizard doesn't have these problems. I'm so excited to make stir fry, fruit salad and freash salsa in minutes. I have a feeling this little unit is going to help me prepare fresher, healthier meals for my family. Thanks ChopWizard! [...]
