I've waited about a year since buying these knives to try and give a more informative review.
These knives are SHARP! They come sharp and make cutting some of the toughest meats easy as cutting hot butter. No kidding around either. They are a joy to use and a pleasure to have in the kitchen after having owned so many inferior knife sets from retail stores that have even cost twice or three times as much.
But how do they hold up you ask?
So far, incredible. These knives are just as sharp today as when we first got them a year ago. I am going to be buying them for Christmas presents this year for sure, and at the price, they will certainly make some of the best value Christmas presents I have ever purchased.
They've been used to cut all kinds of tough stuff, and even used by kids to cut through cardboard etc which you would think would do damage to the sharpness of the blades. So far, so good and they are holding their edge amazingly well.
I can't say enough about these knives. They are comfortable to hold, dishwasher safe, and stain-free even with heavy abuse.
If you need good steak knives, look no further. I only wish every product out there had the value, durability and quality these knives have!

A special tempering process is used to produce an edge that can be resharpened over and over again, so the knife can keep its original sharpness throughout the entire life of the blade.
