Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Victorinox 47547 10-1/4-Inch Wavy Bread Knife, Black Fibrox HandleCustomer Review: Best bread knife ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I don't know how I did without this one for so many years. It easily cuts through homemade thick crusted bread. I bought it because it was the top rated bread knife by America's test kitchen and have found it far superior to the one I had. Love the curved blade. I highly recommend this knife!
Customer Review: Best bread knife you can own Summary: 5 Stars
Slices bread like a hot knife through butter. No breaking up of bread when you slice. Very sharp so be careful.
Customer Review: Best knife I have ever owned Summary: 5 Stars
This knife can do it all-it slices through everything with ease. Breads can now be sliced as thin as you want without smashing the loaf. I am going to get rid of a bunch of knives since I always reach for this amazing knife for almost everything I want to slice. It is truly all purpose and extremely sharp. I love this knife so much I am ordering another one to have at my cottage. I am also looking at their steak knives and probably will try those next.
Customer Review: Best knife ever! Summary: 5 Stars
All of these five star ratings are accurate! I grind my own wheat and bake my own bread, so I decided to give this one a try. It is worth every penny. I actually bought this for my husband for Christmas because he'd been complaining about cutting the bread with our 20 year old knife. He questioned this knife the minute he unwrapped it. One month later, however, his first comment was that we should buy one for each of our three married daughters. Well, enough said. This is a winner, and husband approved!
Customer Review: Best serrated knife ever Summary: 5 Stars
I saw the review of this knife in Test Kitchens, and it is by far the best bread knife I have ever used. I make hard crust peasant bread, and it floats through it. I cut carbs through thin slicing, and it works beautifully, and a budget price at that. Way to go Victorinox, I will try others of your knives.
