Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Victorinox 47508 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife

Customer Review: Great little knife
Summary: 5 Stars

My Victorinox paring knife is ultra sharp. The 3 1/4 inch blade is a good working length and the handle has a texture (it looks the same as the Fibrox handle on the Victorinox 8 inch Chef's Knife) that is helpful in keeping the knife under control in wet or slippery conditions. I use this little knife every day and find it's super-sharp, thiner blade actually slices and dices circles around my expensive French paring knife. This Victorinox knife is quite a bargin.

Customer Review: Great little knife
Summary: 5 Stars

It's sharp, small, light, and has just the right amount of flex. What more could you want in a paring knife? It doesn't hurt that Cook's Illustrated recommends it.

Customer Review: Great little knife
Summary: 5 Stars

This is my go-to paring knife. It's sharp and fits my hand well. The one I bought over a year ago has lost a little of its sharpness with constant use, but it's still very sharp. Short blade is great for coring. Goes in the dishwasher. I keep 2 in my knife drawer and have given them as gifts. Great value.

Customer Review: Great little knife.
Summary: 5 Stars

I have bought many knives from the R.H. Forschner line, and this one holds up to my high expectation just like the rest of the line. At the price, I am convinced that it is the best paring knife you can buy. The blade is high-quality and the handle is very comfortable.

The knife comes razor-sharp and will make simple kitchen tasks seem so easy. Highly recommended.

Customer Review: Great little paring knife
Summary: 4 Stars

This knife is handy for peeling apples and also for slicing. The knife is small and lightweight with good balance and the handle is textured so it doesn't slip. And it's sharp! I've used it to slice lemons, carrots, potatoes, apples, etc. and it cuts smoothly with little effort. This is a smaller than usual paring knife; I think the standard size has a 4" blade, but the length is great for fine mincing of garlic and herbs. Good value for the money.
