Victorinox Forschner 3pc Chef's Set 46892
I was in the market for new knives and have never had a "good" set of knives. I did some research and read that Forschner were very good without being expensive. So I tried them. I just love these knives. They are so sharp, cut, slice and chop so well, and are not heavy or clumsy. I am so happy with them I also bought the steak knives and am just as happy with them.

The large one feels a bit too large to me. I rarely use it but when I do it works perfectly so the set gets a 4 star instead of a 3. The middle sized one, thin and long feels a bit too long to use well. I don't typically use it unless it seems to fit the project. Maybe this is more about my and my small hands and knife experience than the knives though which is, again, why they get a 4 star rating from me.
The little one is a beloved knife to me. I use it all the time and it stays sharp and splendid. It fits great in my hand and slices really well. It is truly a joy to use. I always make sure it is clean and dry for my next use. I'd love a whole set of this size knife.
