Bought the 6, 8 and 10 inch knives. I reach for the 6 inch the most, as I have small hands. They are all super sharp and get the job done.
I reserve the last star to see how well they fare a year down the road.

I purchased this knife based on the chef knife recommendation by America's Test Kitchen. I didn't think that a knife that cost less than $30 could work that well, but decided to purchase it anyway. Let me tell you that I would have paid 3x that amount based on performance. It makes cutting effortless, and it's easier to chop items in many instances than to use my fancy food processor (what with cleaning the parts and setting it up). I wanted to buy a good Chef's knife so I went to the America's Test kitchen web site to check their reviews. I trust them to give a informed opinion on cooking utensils. This knife was their pick, in fact, they say, they use it in their test kitchens. I have had it for about two weeks. It is a great knife. Comfortable to use, balanced in the hand, not to heavy. Makes cutting vegetables for soup a breeze. I make a lot of soup, in quantity. I am so glad I bought this knife. It even cuts tomatoes and grapes without tearing. Previously, I would have used a serrated knife. I really like this knife Victorinox Fibrox 8-Inch Chef's Knife and highly recommend it. For goodness sake look at the price. I was all set to buy a much more expensive knife. I never dreamed a knife for this price would be so perfect.
