I bought this knife for myself, both of my siblings and my mother for Christmas two years ago, and everyone I gave it to has raved about it. I have loved it since first use and it has been my constant companion in the kitchen. If anything should ever happen to it I will, without hesitation, purchase the same knife. It keeps its edge and is easy to sharpen when needed. I find it comfortable to hold, and the grippy handle is nicer to have than I would have expected before owning it. Perfect size. Basiclly speaking, this is a good knife. It is light, and also sharp. The only thing is that the blade is too thin that it would be curved if you hit the hard place. Actually, it happened to me...Customer Review: A good knife is hard to find!

The first cut with this knife left all the other knives in the kitchen pretty much obsolete. I have already ordered several others. It is, simply, the best knife for the money. I have several >$100 knives that may be equal, but none I could recommend friends with moderate $. Great item, highly rated by my fave cooking mag from the East Coast that has a PBS TV show.
