This is a very nice quality rolling pin. It is easy to handle and clean. I have used it on stiff and soft doughs, and works well for both. It is relatively easy to use when rolling dough into a particular shape, ie for scones, or pie crust.Customer Review: Beautiful, excellent quality, great value!

This rolling pin is much better than the traditional large cylinder type. It is lighter and allows for more even rolling of the dough due to the shape. With the middle being thicker, it helps to push the dough out toward the edges and the tapered ends even out the thickness.
