2 Pack Feliway Electric Diffuser (48 mL)
This product is an artificial feline pheromone. It's purpose is to relax your cat(s) so that they don't do things like scratching the furniture or peeing where they aren't supposed to. We were having a problem with one (or more) of our cats peeing on my son's bed... We never caught the cat in the act, so we didn't even know which one was doing it. Since about two days after we plugged in the Feliway diffuser in his bedroom, we've had no incidents.
Prior to this we had a problem with a cat that would not come out from under the bed. We used Feliway spray to calm him down enough to come out. Since we've plugged in the diffuser in our bedroom and my son's bedroom this particular cat (who has "lived" in the bedroom for 5 years) has been coming into the living room to hang out with people and see what we're having for dinner.
This stuff is great! I'm going to be a permanent user of Feliway.

I have been pulling my hair out worrying over my two cats not getting along. I tried the diffuser and I did notice that it took close to a month, but my oldest cat who had sequestered herself to my bedroom is now venturing out into a few other parts of the house. The yonger cat is not quite as aggressive. There is still definitely tension, but its sure seems to be better. Consequently I have ordered refills!

I bought two plug in diffusers and one can of spray for the purported calming effects. I have one older (kinda grouchy) cat and a deaf 10-month old kitten. Things do seem to have calmed down somewhat, and I've even seen them playing a little, although the kitten still gets smacked at least a couple times a day by the grouchy one. Also I'm trying to introduce another (7 year old) cat into the mix, and I was hoping this stuff would help her feel more comfortable about the move and less threatened by the other cats and the dog. I don't think the Feliway is having any impact on her though. I sprayed some in her carrier before the move and there's a diffuser in her room, yet she has barely come out of the bedroom for over a month now. Even with the Feliway, she's petrified of the dog, and pretty intolerant of the other cats.Customer Review: It isn't immediate, but it does seem to work

My cats responded to a change of home combined with the presence of strange new animals by beginning to mark their space in my home. My neightbors do not keep their animals inside and a couple cats started using the flower beds right outside my front door to do their 'business'. The pherones did not cause an immediate change in my pet's behavior but after a month or so we have had fewer and fewer problems. I strongly recommend this product with the suggestion that one make as few changes to your pet's lifestyle as is possible. Aloha fellow feline companions.
