I have 4 rescued cats, plus one spoiled little guy whom I've had from a kitten. The most recent addition was a tuxedo girl. She started life as the extremey pampered only pet of a woman who subsequently moved and left her with a friend. The poor thing was bounced from her three subsequent homes due to an inability to get along with other cats. (I think she also has neurological problems, as evidenced by random head twitches and some other unusual symptoms). Kitty Prozac (at $60 a month) didn't make a noticeable difference (unlike the previous reviewer, it didn't leave her incapacitated; it just didn't seem to do much). Clearly she's never going to be a highly social cat, but Feliway is slowly helping her relax a little. As a bonus, it seems to be helping my alpha male to observe proper litter box protocol and my raised-from-a-kitten boy to be a bit less possessive. With cats, nothing is ever immediate or dramatic but I do feel this is helping.
