This is my second Venta Airwasher I have purchased. They work as far as keeping the dust down. I keep it next to the bird cages to keep the feather dust down. The 10 year warranty is a plus. I had to send for a gear part twice on my old one in the last 8 years. The company promptly sent me the replacement part at no charge. It takes a little mechanical ability to install the part. The only down side is having to fill it with water about every other day and then cleaning it about every 2 weeks.
