Customer Review: Easy way to make perfect roasted garlic! (But needs some improvements)

I was so surprised when I received this garlic cooker. I guess I expected it to be small, but it is large enough to hold 4 big heads of garlic! (It measures 7inches x 7 inches) It comes with a clay insert that you wet before putting in the special garlic tray. It's quite easy to clean and I like it that I don't need to heat up my oven to make yummy roasted garlic.
I would have liked a count down timer so I knew how much time was left, instead the light goes out and that's the only indication you have that it's ready. Even a little beep sound would be nice. In addition, I don't think that 30 minutes is enough time and my garlic was not as soft as I like it. I cook for another 10 minutes (popping the garlic tray out and adding more water to the clay insert with a turkey baster). For these two reasons I have marked down to a 4 star even though I adore this kitchen appliance and use it quite oft

Gave several of these as gifts last year and everyone loves them. I use it for making spread for crackers and also keep it to put in food as I am cooking. Quick, easy and tasty.
