The Toasteess TJK electric kettle was in the apartment I rented in Dublin. I fell in
love with it quickly. It heats up quickly and turns itself off. When I returned to
the United States I purchased one, but I've had to purchase several more
because my neighbors see it and want one, as well.

This unique looking small appliance is actually a cordless jug kettle that boils water faster than a microwave oven or a stovetop burner. It quickly starts the boiling process at the touch of a switch - it will even boil as little as two cups so it's great for one person only. And for added safety, the jug kettle shuts itself off automatically when the water starts to boil; it will also shut itself off if the kettle is plugged in while dry. The special stainless steel heating element resists corrosion and scale buildup. Please note: Teakettle is cordless, but heating element requires an electrical outlet.
