My husband and I enjoy our drinks with ice and it causes condensation on the outside of the glass. I have used all kinds of coasters that either leaves a puddle that when you pick up the glass it drips on you or a stain. These are fantastic as they soak up all the moisture and dry to look like you have never used the coaster. We started with a set of 4 and now we have 12. I also give these as gifts and people rave over them and want to know where they can purchase them for gifts. I've been looking everywhere for natural stone coasters and finally found some here through Beall's. The coasters are pourous and absorb liquid well. There is padding underneath to protect all surfaces. The coasters are solid with good weight so you never worry about slipping or sliding. The color is soft beigy-taupe which goes well with any type decor'. I bought 2 sets to have enough for guests because each box comes with a set of 4 coasters and each pattern per coaster is unique. Excellent product. The stone absorbs liquid quite well. It looks simple but actually quite elegant. Better than any plastic or cork-type of coasters I have ever used. Other stone coasters have all kinds of pictures on them, many of which would not go with most people's decor.
