I already have the Thermos Nissan 16 oz. BackPack water bottle which is absolutely awesome. But this one holds more water and is more durable. This one is great when you are outside in hot weather away from a water source. I hesitated at first because I thought it would be big and bulky, but it isn't. It fits in the cup holder in our truck. I have tried at the very least 6 different thermoses to keep water cold at work. My husband got this first, and raved about it. I ordered it....first time taking it to work (4 ice cubes & rest water), I left it in my car till noon. 90's for temps----probably 100 in the car.....it was STILL COLD with some small cubes left!!! I simply could not believe it!!! I ordered several more for family members!! The BEST for keeping cold beverages!!!! I bought this to keep my beverage ice cold for the entire 18 holes of a round of golf (around 5 hours or more). With my old thermos, the ice would melt away by the back nine, and I'd be left with warm drink. So I was hoping this one would go the distance. Bottom line, it works. It really works. In fact, the first few times I used it, I had a bunch of ice left and no drink. I had put in too much ice because I was used to putting in the that amount in my old thermos (and it still was not enough). But this thing can keep a drink ice cold for 24 hours, in 90 degree heat, with half the ice or less. I tested it. It really works. I'm very happy with it. It isn't cheap, and the instructions say you should not use it for hot beverages, but for cold beverages, it is the best I've ever used. Very well made, rugged and durable. P.S. I also like the fact that it has a clip so I can clip it right on to my golf bag.Customer Review: Better choice for a man

I bought this Thermos for my husband, who wanted something larger than the 18-oz Thermos hydration bottle (which I consider as my BEST EVER Amazon purchase). My husband likes the capacity of this bottle better and finds that he does not have to refill water as often. As I said in the title, this is a great bottle for a man, hence the five stars, as it retains ice and cold water ridiculously well, and it does not sweat, leak, leave rings on table, or get your stuff wet from condensation if you throw it into your backpack (unlike a Nalgene or Camelbak).
For me, this bottle is a little awkward to handle, as it is bigger in circumference than the 18-oz bottle, and I couldn't find a natural place to grip the bottle, except the carabiner (which my husband has removed, so he does not have a problem with gripping the bottle). Unlike the 18-oz, this bottle does not fit into any of our car cup holders, so you'll have to find a resting place for it while you drive. When you look down into the bottle, there seems to be a couple of centimeters extra for insulation, which makes for the larger diameter, which I don't find with the 18-oz version.
All in all, my husband is thrilled with the extra water capacity, and I continue to be thrilled by the Thermos quality. So glad that we don't buy bottled water any more and contribute to the landfill, do not have to worry about BPA since it's stainless steel, and do not have to worry about the ice melting faster than we can drink. Seriously - I fill this puppy up at night with ice and water, so I don't have to rush in the morning. The ice is still there 24 hours later!

This is the best thermos ever! Its the only one I've ever owned that truly keeps coffee hot for hours. This 20oz size is great for work and I drink from it all day. Even with the lid off the coffee stays hot to warm for several hours.
