If you are sensitive to smells, this cup has an unusual sweet odor. It also carries this "WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm." The seller couldn't really comment on it either. If you are the average consumer that doesn't read labels or aren't sensitive to perfumes, or chemical environmentally unfriendly products etc., then go ahead and buy this product. It appears that this product has some good reviews and that's why I purchased it in the first place. I wrote to Thermos three times to ask them what this warning meant, but never received a response. I have been using Thermos since 1989 (owning probably a dozen or so different types of thermoses) and have found most of their products very good to excellent but I believe that they are not what they use to be. Some products seem to be okay.Customer Review: Simply Great!

I haven't had a chance to use this product yet, however, I also purchased a Thermos Nissan can insulator, and that product is fantastic. If the can insulator can keep canned soda cold for a long time, I have not doubt that the Paper cup insulator will do the same for hot beverages. One thought I had though, I probably should have purchased the one with a lid and just pour my coffee into it. That's why I rated it only 3 stars because you need to use a paper cup. My fault - just wasn't thinking. But again, I'm basing my review on my experience with the can insulator.Customer Review: Wonderful!!

I have used this cup insulator for years and I keep ordering more because my friends want them. They keep my coffee hot for hours. You just slide your coffee cup with the lid on it right into it and when your done, throw the cup away. No having to wash it our each time because it doesn't get dirty. It really keeps things hot or cold for a long time. I have no idea why stores don't carry them.Customer Review: Works great.

Absolutely serves its purpose. Keeps coffee (in its disposable cup) warm for up to 3 hours. Then you throw away the cup, no clean-up. Fits right in the car's cup holder. Very useful product.
