Customer Review: Best mug I've purchased (to date, anyway)

If I could have a dollar for every mug I've purchased, I'd have a nice 'stash' of cash! I've bought the expensive ones at the 'Premimum Coffee' stores (over priced, as usual), to mid range cost, and of course, even cheapO's.
This has to be the nicest one I've purchased. It keeps the coffee steaming hot for hours, AND is spill proof as stated. (If you're not a slob, and watch what you're doing).
There are special instructions for this unit that need to be read before you use it. You can't immerse it in water, for one. The 'open' drink mode is different, in that you have to turn the cap back one-half turn till the top lines itself (up and down), which feels a little weird, 'coz you get the feeling when you tip the cup up to drink, the top will fall off into your lap WITH the coffee, or it will, at least, leak like crazy. NOT TRUE.
If you knock it over on a seat, the handle keeps it from rolling off. Also, it will not leak if it is knocked over.
Nissan has done their 'homework' on this item. I can recommend it.

I've been using this mug for about 5 years now and have found it to be the best travel mug available.
It doesn't leak. Period. Screw the lid shut, turn it over. No leaks. Since the lid screws on, rather than pops on, there's no chance that the lid will pop off. I put this mug in my bag right next to my laptop without hesitation.
Drinks stay hot for hours. I leave for work in the morning and my coffee is still warm 4-5 hours later.
It's easy to drink on the go, just screw the lid open a half-turn to drink. Another half-turn and it's sealed shut.
It comes with a carabiner so you can clip it to your bag.
The base is small enough so that it will fit in most car cup holders.
And to top it off, Thermos Nissan will replace it if it breaks, starts to smell bad, etc.
It's the best mug ever. It's a little pricier than some other models and only holds 14oz but it's perfect.

Being a coffee addict, I've owned many travel mugs. I used to use the Starbucks Extreme with the carabiner handle until Starbucks stopped producing it and ebay sellers started selling it as a collectible for beaucoup bucks. The knockoffs don't keep coffe hot for even an hour. I saw this mug and took a chance, got it for pennies because I used the $25 coupon Amazon sends you when you've bought enough stuff. This is better than the Starbucks Extreme. For one thing, no matter how I bounce it around it NEVER leaks. For another, it keeps my coffee hot all morning and drinkable warm well into the afternoon. I've had it for over a year and it just keeps on keeping on. Waiting for my next coupon so I can get a 2nd one.Customer Review: Best mug ever!

I got this mug for Christmas last year. It keeps my coffee warm for hours! It is easy to clean and never leaks. I have bought more as Christmas gifts this year.
