So I bought this thermos hoping my coffee would stay warm through a long day of studying. It seems well constructed, stainless steel so I'm not too worried about anything happening to it, or it getting dinged up if I chuck it out my window.
I thought I would run a little experiment and test it out how long my coffee would stay warm. I brewed some coffee last night at 9pm, and it's 9am now and its still warm- it's not steaming too heavily but it's warm enough to drink, which is all I need.
You have to make sure the screw on cap is on tight, and put the lid back on top. I forgot to put the lid back on top the other day and the coffee was cold after about 5/6 hours.
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the company claims 24hrs. While this has not been experimentally confirmed, I doubt it would stay warm that long. Still, it's good enough to serve my purpose!

I recently purchsed this Thermos and I am very pleased with its performance and design. Its definitaly well built and is perfectly sized for my breifcase. I highly suggest people get this thermos if they enjoy having hot beverages all day long.
I highly suggest not buying this through Amazon directly, due to the fact that they take about a month or so to get it to you unless you don't mind the wait.

My husband and I use these every day for work...I opened mine for the first time today around 10am to refill my travel mug, and I just opened it again at 5pm for another refill - coffee is still hot. Not warm...hot. We don't put milk or anything in them, just coffee - so not sure if that would change the temperature much. These are fantastic, though - I highly recommend.
