First off just let me say this Thermos should be adequate to fulfill your daily coffee-drinking needs. I still have yet to fill it up all the way and I have more than enough coffee throughout my workday. I only say this because from the pictures (as in real life) it looks a bit smaller than some of the typical more rugged full size Thermoses out there. That being said, it is a gem. At first I bought the Thermos King Beverage Bottle with a 40 oz. capacity for myself and then I picked this one up as a more graceful coffee carrier for my wife. But I might just like it more than my own. I've been sneaking it to work for about a week now and have had nothing but good experiences with it. It's a perfect match of graceful design with complete functionality, tall and slim with a nice low-profile spout. And as for the heat retention, yeah, it keeps it hot. As soon as I wake up in the morning around 5 a.m. I fill it with hot water, and then right before leaving for work at 7:00 I fill it up with hot water again and dump it before adding my coffee. I'm also sure to heat my 1/2 and 1/2 for about a minute before adding it to my coffee as well. And so far it's been great. The Thermos King is a very nice product in and of itself, but after trying this one I wish I'd just bought two of 'em.Customer Review: Awesome Product

I have been using this for about 3-4 weeks now. I use it to hold dairy. It keeps it cool the whole work day which is more than I was expecting. I have tried some other store bought brands, but Nissan just gets it right. Capacity is perfect, the cup/lid works great and secures easily. My only gripe if any would be the plug, it seals so tight that sometimes I have to use my shirt to get it started (it's hard to get a grip on the plug, they could have put more tread on it). I still give it five because the thing will not leak once it's sealed, that is worth hassling with the plug.Customer Review: Awesome Thermos!

I bought this thermos so i could bring hot coffee to work. I ride my bicycle to work year round and never had found a truly spill-proof solution so i didnt get coffee in my bag. Well, not i have. This thing has such an air tight seal. The other great thing is that it has a screw inner lid that you can just partially open to pour the coffee without letting the heat out.I also love the little cup that works as the lid so i dont have to have a separate cup anymore.I highly recommend this.Customer Review: Awesome bottle

Got this as a gift from my wife this Christmas. Tempered it with hot water and filled it with very hot coffee in the morning. The next morning the coffee was still drinkably hot.
This thing has already paid for itself by keeping me from buying coffee by the cup throughout the day.
Note that hot liquids seem to cool off more rapidly if the bottle is less than completely full.

I bought this for my husband to take tea to work. If you don't have time to make multiple trips to the kitchen, this will keep your beverage of choice HOT for the entire day. Not warm, but hot, as in just as hot as when you made it. We take it on road trips, and it's so nice to have a hot cup of tea whenever you want it! The lid does get hot when you pour into it, but not so much that you can't hold it if you don't fill it all the way.
