Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Thermos Nissan FBB1000 34-Ounce Stainless-Steel Vacuum Insulated Briefcase BottleCustomer Review: An excellent purchase Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this thermos a month ago, the 34 oz one, and it has been excellent for my coffee, keeping it hot thoughout the day. It holds a little over two large cups and when I pour my afternoon cup of coffee it is still steaming. It saves me money and my own coffee is much better tasting than the coffee I would get at work at the cost of $1.15 a cup. Well worth it!
Customer Review: Are these seconds? Summary: 2 Stars
Bought my 2 nissan's after the item said in stock and then received notice that it was 1 1/2 month delay. Actually had about 25 day delay. A bit surprising that they came in a plain white box and one had a noticiable ding in the cup. I don't think this happened in shipping based on the good packaging. The other I did not examine before giving as a Christmas gift. Happy enough that I didn't bother with a return.
Customer Review: As Promised Summary: 4 Stars
Got this thermos for long trips. Holds just enough coffee to make it the 7-8 hours we typically go. Older models have been very "drippy" when pouring, this one stays tightly sealed and pours very consistently.
Customer Review: Awesome Summary: 5 Stars
One thing. It has a small opening. So I must use a large mouthed funnel to get my chili or soup inside. I bought this to take to the mtn when I snowboard. Not a hot liquid drinker. The ratings are accurate. Food poured out steaming sitting in my car below freezing for half a day.
Just use a little soap plus water and shake it to clean. I can reach the inside lip with a washcloth and my fingers. Some may prefer a long bottle cleaner, but the shake method works for me.
Customer Review: Awesome First impression! Summary: 5 Stars
I love this thermos! Finally bought one that keeps my coffee nice and hot, and can hold more than 16 oz. I drink my coffee about 2 hours after I first pour it in the thermos and its so hot, I need to let it cool off in my mug a minute before I can drink it. I have bought and gone thru other thermos' prior to this (not thermos brand), and they have never lasted more than a couple years; the seal has broken and they have started to leak or the cap has fallen apart. you name it, its happened. The final test will be to see how many years it lasts before it decides to quit/retire.
