I currently own and use several Nissan products. I have found their thermos to be the best by far. The travel tumbler has a hinged flap on top that is not air tight and the liquid drips out when closed. Not very travel worthy in my opinion. I returned it. This tumbler is great, it holds a lot and keeps my coffee hot. I bring this to class with me and through 2 classes keeps my coffee warm. Now, it will not be quite as hot as when I poured it. If I pre-rinse with hot water the coffee will stay very hot for about an hour or so and then after that it will still be nice and warm but not piping. It does leak from the top if you will allow it to (not having it upright) so as previous reviews have stated this is not a "throw it in the backpack/briefcase/dashboard/car floor" tumbler. However I ride the bus to class on a daily basis and have not had any problems whatsoever. Also, it stays fairly cool to the touch while keeping the contents hot. It is expensive, but I feel absolutely worth it.Customer Review: Excellent Product!

I received this tumbler for my birthday, and it is one of the best presents I have ever been given. I have a couple of the larger, wide-bottomed Thermos mugs, but they are only practical at home or at the office. They simply don't fit into the cup holder of a car.This tumbler holds a generous amount of hot coffee, and keeps it hot for hours. The swinging, snap lid is easy to open and close. It will snap to a fixed, open position as well as to a closed position.
With this tumbler, I can leave the house early in the morning with a full container of coffee, sipping from it as I drive my son to school. I can continue sipping on the way to the gym and back. If I have any coffee left, I then take it to the office with me. The portability is simply GREAT.
Although I use this tumbler exclusively for hot coffee, it will work well with any hot or cold beverage. It's my favorite Thermos product so far, and is definitely well-worth the price!
