I find the cellar to be silent, as advertised, and it required virtually no set-up. The racks will only fit 18 750 ml or so bottles, so if you have slightly larger sizes, you won't be able to use all of the space (in other words, you will fit fewer bottles). Also, the first one I received was dead (it didn't draw any electricity), but Wine Enthusiast replaced it within a week or so with a working one. I've only had it about a week and a half, but I am quite happy with the unit and the service thus far; it's easy to use, and I ultimately received what I expected. I would recommend it for a relatively small space.
