I bought this from the market not from amazon, mine was the CFF-990 the tower is NOT stainles steel its plastic, It worked great at the party and I left it to work more than six hours straight just to see if I will have any problems, and there was none!
The only complain I would say is the base pan, it is the only thing thats hard to clean because it does not come off and you dont want the motor to get wet, also its not wide enough, so choclate tends to drip a bit around it when used, so it is best to use something under it so the table does not get messy.
this thing looks nice and I am very pleased with it. Just follow the instructions and it will work fine. just don't use thin liquids with it as it wont make the fountain effect.

We wanted a chocolate fountain for our wedding. After reading reviews and pricing, we decided on this one. We had a small reception, and the chocolate fountain was a great addition - especially for those who didn't want to wait for the cake to be cut. It wasn't too loud and flowed nicely. We did end up having extra chocolate, but it was better than not having enough and the flow being intermittent. The only problem we experienced was the children indulging TOO much. I just had to write a review for this chocolate fountain. I was having a girls get together and wanted something special. I did plenty of research and my sister convinced me that two of these were large enough to accomidate the the thirty people coming. I decided to get them from amazon and they were shipped for free.
They were so easy to set up and as I had researched I let them heat up for about thirty minutes before I placed the chocolate in. I bought the chocolate from Sephra, and made sure it was completely melted down when placed in the fountains.
My guests were sooooooo impressed to see a dark chocolate and white chocolate fountain set out on a table with delectable dipping treats and other candies. They ran for over four hours and I only needed to add chocolate to keep the beautiful flow going. And clean up was pretty easy if your dump sink is big enough. Remember to scoop out the bottom and wipe it out well for storage. The out parts are easy to clean with hot soap and water.
I can't wait to use them again. The party was last weekend and we're already trying to set something else up.

I like it quite a bit. I just wish it were bigger. I am a caterer and have used it for wedding receptions. It is a big hit with guests and brides a like.
