It's true that after several years and hundreds of hours in a dishwasher the seals may deteriorate. And it will cost you something to mail them back to Tervis in Florida. But the guarantee is absolute. I wait until I have two that need to be replaced, so I save on postage, and yes it will take two or three weeks to get replacements, but you don't need a receipt, just pack them up, put in your return address and in two weeks you'll have brand new replacements. My most recent ones came via FedEx. The Tervis site has dozens of varieties of inserts for the tumblers, everything from NFL logos to hummingbirds and if yours is no longer in stock they will use your old one if it isn't damaged. An excellent company with a well deserved reputation for great customer service and its guarantee.
