This product is a 5 star product, but I've only given it 2 stars because you can not purchase refills for the ped egg for men. The regular refills, and the professional refills, do not work with this product. I contacted Telebrands directly, as well as their wholesale rep, and you can not and will not be able to purchase refills for the ped egg for men. Excellent product, but in order to get a refill, you'll have to buy a new product.
That said, I'd recommend you purchase the regular ped egg instead: PedEgg Professional Foot File Replacement Blades- 3 Pack

I have used several of these for over a year now and highly recommend them! Great little device for shaving off those cracked and rough heels and ankles, easy-quick and does the job. The other reviews are correct in that this device does not get all the shavings so use it in a shower or tub or over a towel for sure.

I bought this for my partner because he was complaining about his heels being calloused even though he put lotion on them. He tried the Ped Egg as soon as it arrived and was pretty impressed with those first results. I didnt have thick calluses or scaley feet to begin with,in fact my feet looked pretty good or so I thought.I had just enough dry skin to make the edges of my feet ashy white.This is after semi-regular pedicures.
I had no idea so much dead skin would come off in this contraption.I did in fact have some areas that needed some work.
It is very effective and it does take awhile.Just dont expect to rub it back and fourth a couple times and get results.Its takes a little while.I worked on mine fo about 20 minutes.I suggest alternating directions:east/west for awhile then north/south.Your feet must be completely dry and I highly recommend using lotion after.
If it made my feet look and feel this good,I can imagine what it will do for real calluses.It eliminated dead skin I couldnt even see.
I plan to order more for the women and men in my family.
Great product at a fantastic price!
