I am a BIG garlic fan so when I saw this little gadget I just had to have one. It is so easy to use, looks adorable on the counter, and easy to clean too. My cardiologist wants me to cut back on sodium, having roasted garlic on hand adds a big dose of flavor to almost everything I cook - so I don't even miss the salt.
Roasted garlic also makes a great spread for whole grain breads - a healthy alternative to butter. It can be added to diet dressings and low fat dips for extra flavor. There are so many uses for it. I was given this little garlic express as a 're-gift' from a co-worker who I guess had it and never used it and knew that I love and use garlic a lot.
It is really the coolest! It roasts the garlic so quickly and with such a fabulous aroma in the house.
Now I'm finding an excuse to use it all the time! :)
