These "men" are all they are cracked up to be! I have moved a 4 drawer filing cabinet, queen bed set, sideboard, roll-top desk, office desk and hutch, couches, dressers, and bookcases with my 8-piece set and have not had to wait until someone was available to help me! Attempting to move these furniture items by myself could have resulted in a painful back strain, but my moving men made it a breeze! This thing does the job for in house moving over carpets nicely. On rough wooden surfaces outside the house its not durable and scratched a lot. Did hold the necessary weight and helped moving but a furniture dolly or two for moving houses is better. In house this thing is good. These are nifty little discs. I have hardwood floors and as others have suggested, you need to clean the floor before attempting to let these slide across your floor. Others have suggested adding a layer of felt. While this helps a little, the floor still needs to be clean for a good move.Customer Review: Good on non carpeted floors

Great for moving furniture on my tile floors. Would not work on the carpet. Might work better on a very low carpet like berber.
