These little guys were a lifesaver when we had to move all of the furniture out of the first floor of our house on short notice. We bought three boxes, and they've all managed to come in handy! You never really realize how much you strain yourself trying to move things that are really too heavy for you- that is, until you get a bunch of these sliders, wedge them under that couch/table/piano/dresser and slide it easily across the room or even across the house! Then you feel just how much energy you saved! I can guarantee that anyone who uses these for the first time will get a huge grin on their face at just how easily their dauntingly heavy piece of furniture slides across any kind of carpet. (I can also guarantee that when you've moved the piece of furniture, you'll grab the sliders to do some carpet skating!)
Then there is the added convenience of not having to remove every single thing from whatever it is you're moving- a dresser can be moved without removing the drawers, for example, and we were able to move our bookshelves without removing the books. It saves much time and effort.
The only con to these sliders (and it is just a small gripe) is that they are bright orange! Not a big deal when you're just going to be moving something and putting them away. But we use these for our living room table, which gets moved often- so we just leave the sliders there. They're also very useful for putting under the feet of furniture that you don't want to make a dents/grooves in your carpeting, and the bright orange is an eye-grabber.

I love these sliders. I bought them because I had some experience with my Mom's set and they are so worth it! Because I'm not a jerk like the reviewers who gave them only one star, I knew in advance that I shouldn't use these on bare floors because plastic is HARD. Yes, it actually is hard. My suggestion is to use these only on carpets and rugs and not smooth floors unless you know with absolute certainty there is not a speck of grit on your floors. Of course, this is how they're advertised by the maker, but you still have to tell folks. Okay, back to the sliders. I have no one to help me move my very heavy oak desk and once I got these puppies under each corner, I had no problems whatsoever. I also have two 7 foot high book cases and again, the larger sliders are perfect. The little ones I use for a teak wood coffee table, more to save the legs from stress, as the table is very old. It beats hiring someone to help with moving furniture.Customer Review: For women who like to rearrange rooms "just to see how it looks"

I am 72 years old and still move the big chairs, tables and couches around to see if I like the furniture arranged a different way --and often move it all back again. And how do I do it? With my nifty "moving men" that let me slide stuff around all by myself and without frustrating my husband. We broke one of the big ones moving a full water heater across cement (!!!!! how about that ??!!) so am buying another set. You need two sets to move a room full of furniture around :)Customer Review: GREAT

I purchased these back in February and am just now getting the opportunity to utilize them and I must say... they are great. I recently hurt my back but still wanted to move my son's over size heavy furniture around in his room.
I moved everything with ease and with no problems on my extra thick carpet.
