The funnel is nice quality. I'll admit that it's not really needed, but i does makes filling up your grinders & mills a little easier.
I really bought this for the tray though. My pepper grinder dispels excess grindings, and this makes clean up much more pleasant. Sturdy, attractive, and it only cost me $5! = )
