Customer Review: Exaggeration of the truth--FIBBING

Item states that it comes with gel fuel. Guess what? No gel fuel even though one pays for it. Best of all no credit either for item not included.
Fondue pot itself is of good quality, cast iron visible along the rim unlike Creuset from old times that was totally ceramic glazed. All in all a well priced product.

Cheese fondue is an ancient andinteresting Swiss dish, fun to serve and enjoyable to eat. Authentic cheese fondue uses Swiss cheeses melted in Swiss wine. Today, cheese fondue ingredients are available already prepared in many grocery stores across theCelebrate your next birthday or anniversary with a fondue feast. This nine-piece set has all essentials, including a 2-quart enameled cast-iron pot for melting and serving. The pot rests in a durable rechaud/stand with four feet for a secure base. Below, a paste burner and one, 3-ounce Swissmar fondue fire gel container keep cheese warm. Six three-prong fondue forks with wood handles are perfect for spearing and dipping bread squares, apples, salami, or cauliflower in rich, melted Gruyere or cream cheese. Swissmar includes one fondue recipe with the set plus offers additional recipes at their Web site.
