Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Stevia Supreme (5.4 oz)Customer Review: Convenient shaker, taste is fine Summary: 4 StarsThis is my first time trying stevia in any form or brand, and I just made myself my first cup of tea, sweetened with 5 very careful shakes of stevita until it was sweet enough. With the erythritol filler it seemed to be about somewhere between half to equally as sweet as Splenda with the same amount. So far the taste is fine... there's some mild bitter taste that lingers on my lips, that I initially thought of as "chemically" but finally realized was actually a very very mild aftertaste of black licorice (which I absolutely detest, so I can usually detect very mild licorice flavors, like in Starbucks Chai tea - hate it for the star anise).
If you don't detest licorice, I'd say worth the try, but get it from a vitamin store where you don't pay the same amount of shipping as the actual stevia!
I just went to a health food store and bought "Wholesome Sweeteners" blue agave syrup, which is sweeter and less thick than honey, without that strong flavor. I like it so far, where I didn't really like the stevia, honestly, in the same tea.
