It's about what I expected for the price And while the base is well designed it was smaller than I'd hoped, it is fine for permanent mounting but not much use other wise.At night the lights show the tree oof nicely,which is what I wanted since I plan to use it for my Outside X-Mas lighting as reminder that its warm somewhere out there during winter.(it was also warm where Jesus was born)
