After reading many reviews on steamers I bought the steam fast and I am very happy I did. Steam is almost instant once you turn it on. It holds enough water to steam for longer than you really want to stand there and steam. HA HA The easy of the removeable water tank is a plus. The only thing I would like to see changed is adding about a foot more in the length of the hose. It works great for clothes but I was steaming my drapes and it didn't quite reach the top. Other than that I highly recommend this steamer!
