CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED!!!! I purchased this same pink sphere chair for my daughter because she wanted it so badly for Christmas. I tried to find one in the stores but was told, for several reasons, it was only available in early fall. So, I had to go on-line to try to find one. I did find one and ordered it. Yes, I received it in time for Christmas, BUT not in time to return it as I wanted so badly to do. The reason for my disappointment was that when I received the chair, it was VERY DIRTY around the edges even though it was enclosed in tight, unbroken plastic wrap and was inside the original cardboard box which had, strangely enough, NOT been damaged during shipping, though the condition of the chair, upon first viewing it, would have made one believe the box had been driven over at least once or twice by the delivery truck. So why was it dirty? It made no sense to me why this chair was soiled the way it was and, even more, why someone cared so little about me as a customer to have shipped me a product in such poor condition. It was too dirty not to be noticable by the one that packaged it. Someone in the packaging department needs an advanced lesson in product care and proper, protective packaging techniques. I had to take time to wash the cushion myself which was quite a job (Understatement of the year!!!). Yes, Christmas was partly saved relative to my daughter liking the chair (Once I had personally washed it and agreed only then that it was acceptable), but I will not make the mistake of ordering anything from the same vendor again on-line. Let me stress here and now that this was the only time I had ever had any problems when ordering items through AMAZON and I order tons of stuff through them all the time. Will I order through AMAZON again from other vendors? Oh yes, I promise you I will, BUT I will not order anything from the vendor that sold me the dirty pink sphere chair. I wish I had read the other reviews which told of this same problem experienced by others before I ordered the chair for my daughter. That was my BIG mistake!
