I've bought this set at a brick and mortar store 2 years ago and I'm very glad i did.
These containers are very sturdy, as they've seen some rough treatment during these two years and they are all still as new. Maybe a scratch or two, but considering what they've been through (daily use, 3 house moves) that is remarkable in and of itself.
The latches are sometimes a bit hard to open, but so far excessive use of force hasn't broken them. The seal formed is very good and I haven't had any liquid spills so far.
They are also easy to clean, both by hand and in a dishwasher.
One last thing - these containers are the only ones I've had that don't have any burns or melted areas from heating food in them in a microwave oven. This Snapware is built to last!
