My mom's cat loves this scratching post/perch! Her cat practically opened the box himself he was so excited. LOL It was so cute! This item is also a great training tool for young kittens; especially if they are focusing their claws on one piece of your favorite furniture. You just place the scratching post close to where they like to scratch and before long, they will have forgotten all about your furniture. :) AND you'll have one happy cat!
