I've had this for a year or so. One of the cooks in the family was having lots of trouble with upper respiratory allergy type symptoms, and couldn't use Teflon, the more usual non-stick surface. According to what I've read, the cybernox technology is leased by Sitram from the French government, and uses the same stuff that is on the nose cones of their rockets. Meaning that this stuff is really slippery at really high temperatures, but for ordinary cooking it needs some help (oil, cooking spray). That said, I am really pleased with how well it cleans up with a minimum of elbow grease--more "wipe-clean" than "scrub clean." Lid's a bit flimsy, but I don't use it much--and I use the pan almost every day.
